Since 27 April 2026, applications for temporary residence, permanent residence and EU long-term resident status are filed electronically only, through the MOS portal. A paper application is left unexamined — regardless of when it was posted. We act for employees, families, students and holders of PESEL UKR status.
The legal basis decides your documents, your fee and whether you may work while the case runs. Choosing the wrong one is not a correction — it is a new application and a new queue.
A three-year temporary residence permit for people under temporary protection. The procedure is short because it is an administrative act rather than a full decision-making process.

This is not cosmetic. What changed is how a case starts, what proves your lawful stay, and how responsibility is split between you, your employer and your lawyer.
A lawyer cannot open a MOS account or sign the application for you. We can draft the whole file, run the case and receive correspondence — but you press “sign” yourself.
A PESEL number, a Profil Zaufany and an e-Doręczenia mailbox. Without them you cannot log in or receive a summons from the office.
An electronic certificate in MOS replaced it. It confirms lawful stay while the case runs, but it does not let you cross a border.
Thirty days to sign Annex 1. Missing it does not delay the case; it stops it.
The statutory 60 days and 6 months do not run until 4 March 2027. Anyone quoting you a decision date is guessing.
The right to work follows from the basis of the permit and the wording of the decision, not from holding the card. Check before you sign an employment contract.

Yes, provided the application reached the office no later than the last day of your lawful stay and either had no formal defects or you cured them in time. Your stay is then lawful until the case ends. One caveat: the electronic certificate does not let you cross a border — you re-enter Poland on a visa or visa-free.

No. Since 27 April 2026 the foreign national opens the MOS account and signs the application with a trusted profile, a qualified signature or a personal signature. A lawyer may prepare the entire file, advise on the form and represent you in the pending proceedings — which is what we do.
It depends on what you rely on today. A CUKR card gives you three years of stability, full labour-market access and time counting towards EU long-term residence. But collecting it costs you part of your temporary-protection entitlements, including free accommodation. For a family in a reception centre and for a developer on a payroll the answer is different. It is an arithmetic question, and that is where we start.

You have 14 days to appeal to the Head of the Office for Foreigners. That deadline is almost never restored, so it is the first thing we check. If the refusal stands, a complaint to the regional administrative court follows within 30 days.
Not for temporary residence permits. For EU long-term resident status you must document Polish at B1 level or completion of a Polish school.
